The aim of this masterplan was to create a strategy for regenerating
Tobacco Dock and to find a synergy in the development for adjacent plots. It
sought to repair the damaged infrastructure of routes across this part of
London and to establish a powerful new destination with the critical mass
necessary to re-kindle an economic regeneration of the area.
