The brief for this competition winning new HQ building called for 1850m2
(20,000ft2) of flexible, naturally ventilated office space right alongside the
elevated section of the A40.
The solution was an acoustically sealed, south-facing trombe wall using natural stack effect to draw in cooler air from the
quieter north side.
