The proposal explored the potential of terraced housing to provide both domestic and working environments. The houses are single aspect with bedrooms and living rooms overlooking a quiet private square at the front.
The rear is windowless to allow the gardens to accommodate embryonic home-businesses, and the 'back alley' becomes the modern equivalent of a medieval market street.
