Following the rapid expansion of the Irish film and theatre Industry during
the 1990's, University College Dublin decided to build a major new centre
for film and drama on the campus. We were short-listed to prepare designs
for the new centre, our approach being that the 'performance' spaces
should all be visible from a vibrant new public exhibition space which
would form a new centre of activity for the campus.
