New Central Library
Barking, East London: 2001

At the heart of the Barking Town Square Development is the new Central Library. It's entrance is via a bookshop and cafe and once inside, escalators take people up through an unusual key-hole shaped atrium to a public exhibition space and roof terrace with magnificent views back down Clockhouse Avenue to the Creek.
